Phoenix police officers were shot by man as they were leaving a convenience store. This leads to violent arrest

Phoenix authorities released footage on Thursday of a man who was shooting at Officers of the policeAfter speaking with them outside a convenience shop, they immediately jumped into a patrol vehicle. 

According to the Phoenix Police Department the incident happened on Oct. 27, at a convenience shop in the vicinity of 59th Avenue, Buckeye Road. Two officers were walking out of the store when a man approached them and began to talk to them. 

Police said that the officers entered the car with the suspect and continued talking to him through the driver’s window. Surveillance footage recorded the vehicle pulling out of a parking spot and the suspect shooting a shot that struck the ground.

A man shot at Phoenix police officers in a patrol vehicle last month, authorities said. 

According to authorities, a man was arrested for shooting at Phoenix police officers last month while driving in a patrol vehicle.

He is followed by the officers who run after him, holding up their weapons. They then order him to get down on the ground and handcuff him. He gets down on his knees, with his hands up in the air. 

As the suspect lies face down, both officers appear to hit him on the head using their weapons.

One officer was heard saying “Stupid —,””. “What’s the f—ing problem?”

Moments later, an officer said “I’m gonna blow your head off,” 

The man seems to be moving in pain while lying on the ground. This led one officer to kick the suspect in the back. The suspect was taken by ambulance to a hospital with unspecified injuries. He was then booked into jail. 

Both officers were uninjured. Both officers have been in the police force for less that a year, and the other has been in the department for six.

The takedown was recorded by a clerk at a store, which authorities released as well. 

Authorities said that an administrative and criminal investigation is underway into the incident as well as the actions of the officers. The authorities will review the findings. Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
