According to the DHS federal records, DePape entered the US legally at San Ysidro, California-Mexico border port of entry on March 8, 2008.

DePape finally settled in California.

The detainer asks the other law enforcement agencies not to notify ICE prior to the release of the incriminated person from custody.

If convicted of both federal charges, DePape could spend 50 years prison.
