Paul Pelosi secretly called 911, spoke in Code to Dispatcher: Reporteds

Grimes requested a high-priority wellness inspection at the house based on what she had heard. Miller stated that the officers saw the men grappling with the hammer when they arrived. According to Miller, the incident was captured on body cam footage.

Although police couldn’t confirm details of the 911 call reported by CNN or the LA Times, Grimes was publicly praised for her actions during Friday’s press conference.

“I want Heather Grimes to be praised for her quick thinking, intuition and speed. Scott explained that she had to interpret what was being said and that her experience and intuition helped her to see that there was more to the incident than she was told. Her actions led to a quicker response and higher priority dispatch.

Insider asked for more information, but the San Francisco Police Department (and Capitol Police) did not respond immediately.
