Olivia Wilde, the latest celebrity to confirm that Harry Styles didn’t spit on Chris Pine is proof enough.
Venice Film Festival was buzzing because of Wilde’s new directorial endeavor. Do not worry darling. There were rumors that Wilde and Florence Pugh had a falling-out. It was also possible that Wilde may have fired Shia LaBeouf.

Styles, who stars the romantic drama, was later filmed spitting at Pine in a viral clip from the festival. Do not worry darling premiere.
Fans spent many hours and days analysing the video to determine if Pine really did drop a bomb in Pine’s lap. Styles’ girlfriend Wilde has also clarified the situation.
This week, her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Wilde addressed the “weird rumors” circulating around “spitgate.”
Colbert seized the chance to ask, “Did Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine? Why or why? Support your answer.”
“He did not,” Wilde answered with a laugh.
She further added, “I think it’s a perfect example of people who look for drama anywhere they can. In fact, Harry didn’t spit on Chris. He really didn’t!”

Pine’s representatives have also shut down the rumors, saying, “This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation. There is nothing but respect between these two men, and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist.”
Styles addressed these rumors during the Love On Tour concert he gave in the US. He laughed off the absurd claims, and said, “I just popped very quickly to Venice to spit on Chris Pine but fear not, we’re back.”
