Noah Gragson rips Ty Gibbs before the Xfinity Series Championship. ‘He lives and breathes fantasyyland’

The NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship FourIt will take place on Saturday at Phoenix International Raceway, before the Cup Series race the next day. There is much tension in the event.

The stock car world has been focusing on Ross Chastain’s move at Martinsville Speedway to get into the Cup Series’ Championship Four, the Xfinity Series saw some controversy of its own when Ty Gibbs wrecked teammate Brandon Jones and won the race.

Gibbs could have stayed behind Jones and Joe Gibbs Racing would have had two cars at the final. JGR will be able to field one car and JR Motorsports three.

Noah Gragson will compete for the championship with Josh Berry, Justin Allgaier and Justin Allgaier. He spoke out about Gibbs to the media Thursday.

“He doesn’t care. Gragson stated that he lives in fantasyland. “I don’t have any idea what his mind is thinking,” Gragson said. It’s got to be badass to live in the kind of world where you just have no real consequences or anything.”

Gragson added, “Just voicing my opinion, I don’t like him. It’s just speaking what everybody doesn’t want to say, but they feel it.”

Gibbs, 20 years old, has had success in his early professional career. His NASCAR debut was in 2021. He has 10 wins from 50 starts. He won the ARCA Championship in last season’s race and has been performing double duty since July as an injury replacement. Kurt Busch. Gibbs will race in Sunday’s Cup event.

But his aggressive driving has made some of the track’s competitors dislike him. He drew ire after last week’s event when he compared himself to Jesus.

He said, “I always refer back to the same verse that Jesus was hated among all the people.”

His grandfather Joe Gibbs stated that Jones would face consequences, but the driver seemed humbled on Thursday.
