Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and could launch with up to 12GB of RAM — the same as the Quest Pro. The Quest 3 may actually offer more advanced next-gen experiences, despite being less expensive.
Our Meta Quest 3News round-up contains all the Quest 3 data leaked. Let’s just say that the Lynch leak implies it will feature pancake lenses and enhanced external cameras for better tracking and full-color passingthrough. Unfortunately, it could also use a similar unsupportive nylon band and LCD displays to the Quest 2 and not have eye tracking for foveated rendering.Â
The Quest 2 VR experience is still the best available, and it will be until the Quest 3 launches. It has a great gaming library, and an easy-to-use standalone design.Â
