Nora Twomey directs this animated adventure film about fantasy and adventure. The story is based on Ruth Stiles Gannett’s 1948 children’s novel. Jacob Tremblay voices Elmer Elevator as he struggles to fit in with the city’s residents after moving there with his mom. Elmer then flees for Boris the Dragon. This captive dragon is kept on Wild Island. Gaten Matarazzo voices Boris. Elmer is a solitary adventurer who encounters terrifying creatures and makes lifelong friends along the way. The Netflix original movie, produced by Cartoon Saloon from Ireland, will be released on November 11, 2022.
