Neighbor of University of Idaho students murdered describes crime scene location in Idaho as a party house’

A neighbor described the mystery surrounding the murders of four University of Idaho students as “like something out of a movie”.

Eight days after Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen were stabbed to death in their Moscow, Idaho home, police have no suspect, no weapon, and no motive.

Many residents of the area have left for Thanksgiving break. But, neighbors who were still around Monday told their stories. Night of the MurdersIt occurred between 3-4 a.m. on Sunday, November 13.

“I went to bed that night early, and then I woke awake to a bunch o’ normal, and then a couple hours later we got a call and there was a bunch police here,” said Jeremy Reagan. He is a third-year student in law. “That was it. That was the end for normalcy over the past week.

Reagan lives so close to the victim’s house, “I could throw an entire baseball from my frontdoor to the house,” Reagan said.

Couple Dakota Sparks, Heather Tetwiler both live within a short distance of the crime scene.

Sparks stated that she left work at 11:45 in the morning. Sparks said that she had never seen or heard anything the night prior. I was awake until 2 a.m. but had never heard anything.

Police claim that Goncalves & Mogen went home at 1:45 a.m. Take a ride withA “private party” after eating food from a food cart.

Kernodle was also home with her boyfriend Chapin around the same time. Chapin had come from a fraternity event at Sigma Chi house 1.5 miles away.

Two additional roommatesAccording to police, they were found already asleep at home by 1 a.m.

A 911 call didn’t come in until 11:58 Sunday morning – 10 hours after the victims returned home and 7 to 8 hours after police believe they were killed. One of the survivors’ cell phones called 911.

“I was at work and the only thing I heard about was like the ‘unconscious person,’” Tetwiler said. “And then I didn’t realize that it had more severity until I got back home. The clicking of the cameras was all I could hear.”

Neighbors claim that the house was noisy and often busier than it should have been.

Tetwiler stated, “It’s just seemed crazy, just how quiet that’s been.” “They had always had a little gathering so they always have music.”

Reagan described it as a party place.

“There were parties that could be quite loud,” he stated. “As I took my dog in to go to the toilet, I would walk by the house, and then I’d look up to see people in the windows nearly every night. It was probably four to five times a week. That house was frequented by many people.

Fox News spoke to neighbors who say that the victims were respectful. They also said that the social events they hosted were typical of college campuses.

The University of Idaho is located in Moscow, Idaho. It is approximately 25,000 people and is situated 80 miles southwest of Spokane, Washington. The college town has seen many changes. zero reported homicidesIn seven years.

Moscow Police Department will host a news conference Wednesday, at 4 p.m. Eastern.
