Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow, says he won’t draw a salary as RNC Chair

  • Mike Lindell claims he won’t accept a paycheck from Republican National Committee, if elected chair.
  • Lindell indicated that he will give all of his paycheck back to the company.
  • Insider was told by Lindell that he has received support from at least six states in his bid to be the RNC chair.

Mike Lindell, MyPillow CEO, stated that he would not accept a paycheck from Republican National Committee in the event he is elected chairman.

Lindell made this comment on Monday BroadcastFrank Speech platform, and he elaborated on it in an interview with Insider Monday night.

Lindell stated to Insider Monday, “But I wouldn’t take a check from the RNC. I’d put all of the money back into the organization.” “If it’s me running it, the money that goes there will actually go towards doing good.”

Lindell said that although he doesn’t know how much the RNC chair earns, it is a very lucrative job. 

“I don’t know what they get paid, but it seems like quite a bit. Ronna McDaniel is a very unqualified candidate for re-election. He spoke of his rival, the current RNC chairman. McDaniel representatives didn’t immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment regarding Lindell’s statements, and how much she makes in her role as RNC chair.

Insider was also informed by Lindell that he had been reaching out and contacting every RNC delegate. Since he announced his candidacy last week. He claims he has the support of six state representatives and is now looking for more. 

Lindell stated that she believes Lindell can lead the RNC and solve their problems. It won’t take many years. 

Lindell also praised his own business record with MyPillow. He said he’s faced “pretty difficult conditions” over the years but is “well-versed on how to run an organization.” 

“And anyone who says, “Well Mike, don’t have the skill to accomplish this?” Lindell stated to Insider that yes, I believe I do. 

In June, Walmart — MyPillow’s biggest distributor — Lindell’s products were removed from the shelves. Lindell is also being disowned by other retailers. In April 2021 MyPillow products pulled by Costcoas did Bed Bath & Beyond, QVC, JCPenney, and Wayfair. The results from the RNC election are expected to be announced During the January 2023 winter meeting of this committee.
