Microsoft has made it easier to join Discord voicechats via Xbox

Microsoft and Discord will make it easier to join a voice channel via an Xbox console. If you’re a frequent Discord user, you may recall the companies recently launched Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S integration. That’s about to change. This is the future. It was discovered by Microsoft announced that it would no longer require you to use your phone to join Discord voicechats. This beta update Xbox Insiders has available to download right now. The new software includes a server browser which allows you to join a voice chat channel from your console. You’ll still need your phone handy if you want to call a specific friend over Discord, but the update otherwise simplifies what was an overly complicated process previously. Although the feature is still in beta, Microsoft plans to release it to all Xbox owners within the next few days.
