Tank Brown, Khary crump, Angelo Grose, Zion Young and Zion Young were all temporarily suspended for their alleged involvement in the attack. Tucker stated that Tucker was working with law enforcement to resolve the situation.

Mel Tucker took a firmer approach to the matter than Nick Saban
When video footage surfaced showing Michigan State players behaving in a violent and completely unacceptable manner, Tucker didn’t hesitate to punish them.
Now, let’s compare and contrast that with how Nick Saban handled Jermaine Burton hitting a defenseless woman from behind.
Saban decided to speak out about Burton’s fear instead of standing proud in front the media and making clear hitting women would not be tolerated.
Even when more video footage came out, Saban didn’t do anything. At the very least, he hasn’t changed his tune as of October 31.

Some believe that Burton was the victim initially, but the video footage is now available to support this belief. Some argue that he was looking for altercations.

The extended video footage does not have any effect on the fact that he hit a defenseless female. He not only hit a defenseless female, but he also turned around to do so. After the woman had walked by him, he turned around to hit her head.
Michigan State players attacked Michigan State members wearing full pads. Mel Tucker had to suspend them before the weekend was finished. He also clarified that this was a police matter.
Jermaine Burton struck a woman without the ability to defend herself. Nick Saban made excuses. There’s a serious argument to be made that what Jermaine Burton did is much worse given the full context of what we know.
Mel Tucker didn’t make excuses. He didn’t try to cook up some insane spin to the media. He stood firm and made it clear that unacceptable behavior would not be tolerated. Saban chose defend a player who had hit a defenseless player, and he played him the following week.

Nick Saban could be a good exampleHe learned a lot from his former assistant. All he had to do was stand up there and say Alabama football doesn’t tolerate hitting women, and he couldn’t even do the bare minimum.
