The performance moved the fans. House Of The DragonWe are looking forward to the new season. The most beloved scene on Season 1 is the last shot of Rhaenyra Targaryen, Daemon Targaryen.
Emma D’Arcy, the star of HODAccording to, Matt Smith (who played Daemon) was responsible for the shot.

In an interview with GQD’Arcy explained that they were nervous about the scene, until Matt suggested the idea. The couple spoke out about Rhaenyra’s numerous deaths and pivotal moments, saying that “I was extremely concerned about it because, at that point, there had already been so many types of mountainous forms in the landscape of that episode.”
The series finale sees Daemon Targaryen walk up to Rhaenyra, his niece and her husband, and whisper that her son Lucerys is dead (Elliot Grihault). They can be seen briefly holding hands as they move toward the fireplace, away from the camera.
Rhaenyra walks by herself and takes a moment for herself to regroup before she turns and faces the camera, ready to face the Greens. Emma praised the camerawork for the scene, noting that it took half a day to make the crane move in the episode.
“I wanted to gain clarity through a new kind earth-shaking piece news. But I actually had the most beautiful day of shooting.”
“When we got on set to rehearse, it has to be known, it was Matt Smith, in a turn of fucking genius, who offered the idea that Daemon should give Rhaenyra the news while we’re both walking away from camera, towards the fireplace. It was a sublime choice, and I could see it instantly,” D’Arcy further added.

D’Arcy concluded by saying, “We’ve sort of touched on it, but I think losing a child, losing her son, it reframes grief immediately.”
