Mason Greenwood has been released on bail after a private hearing at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court.
Manchester UnitedForward Greenwood was placed in custody from Monday to November 21 by a district judge after it was found that he had violated his bail conditions.
The 21-year-old was charged with attempted rape and assault as well as controlling and coercive behaviors.
Greenwood, who had been released on bail since January was arrested again on Saturday. He was being held for allegedly violating the conditions.
According to some reports, the attempted rape occurred in October 2021. The assault took place in December 2021. Controlling and coercive behavior was observed between November 2018-October 2018.
