Arsenal Invincible Martin Keown believes Manchester City can win a whole Premier League season without losing if they defeat Liverpool on Sunday.
The Citizens go into this weekend’s clash at Anfield being the only club in the top-flight yet to taste defeat.
A victory against Jurgen Klopp‘s side would see Pep Guardiola‘s men go 16 points clear of the Merseyside outfit.
And Keown has stated that a win would give the players the confidence they could match Arsenal’s feat from the 2003/04 campaign.

Arsenal remains the only English team to win in modern times, but CityThey are challenging their achievements.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Keown said: “Liverpool are capable of winning this game, no doubt.
“Whether they will or not remains to be seen. If City wins, then I think they only grow in stature.
“They become almost invincible, and they will challenge that very proud record that Arsenal have of going a whole season without being beaten.
“They’re the only team so far to be in this situation at this stage of the season.
“And if they win at Anfield, then they could maybe go on and do that.”
Keown stated that he believes City will not lose, but that they will be returning to the Etihad with one point rather than all three.
He remarked: “I’d like to say it’s a draw, because I think that’s probably what is going to happen.
“But City are quite capable of winning, and if they do win this, they end any kind hope of Liverpool winning the Premier League this season.”
Klopp knows that he has a big task before him to keep City marksman. Erling Haaland quiet on Sunday.
The Norway international has already banged in 20 goals this term – with 15 of his strikes coming in the Premier League.
