The Pirates of the CaribbeanMargot Robbie’s movie has been cancelled. Robbie will next be seen as Damien Chazelle. BabylonDisney has announced that it no longer intends to continue the spin-off.
Interview with Vanity Fair, she said, “We had an idea and we were developing it for a while, ages ago, to have more of a female-led – not totally female-led, but just a different kind of story – which we thought would’ve been really cool, but I guess they don’t want to do it.”

Robbie did not go into details about the reasons for the movie being canceled. Christina Hodson (the scriptwriter for Robbie’s Harley Quinn movie) had been helping her with the movie. Birds of Prey.
The actress previously said that the spinoff would have “a lot more girl power” and that she was “very, very excited at the prospect that it will add clearly a very important female element.”
Jerry Bruckheimer was the Pirates’ movie producer. He previously confirmed that there were “two Pirates scripts,” one with Robbie and one sans Robbie.
Robbie will not be in the movie, which is expected to be a complete reboot of the franchise. The script is being written. ChernobylTed Elliott and Craig Mazin, the creators of Pirates, were also involved in every Pirates movie.Stories from Dead Men are not told by dead men.
Robbie’s is a good choice. Pirates of the CaribbeanWhile the spin-off may be slowing down, there are still plenty of opportunities to catch the actress on the big screen in the coming weeks. Soon, she will be in BabylonWhile Greta Gerwig is highly anticipated, BarbieRobbie is also producing the movie. It will be released 2023.
