Social media users are divided over a video showing a baby being crowd-surfed to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at a promotional event for his new movie Black Adam.
The actor uploaded a video to his Instagram account of the incident. It shows Johnson receiving his baby girl from a Mexican father. According to Page Six, the incident happened at Mexico’s Diego Rivera Museum last week.

Dwayne Johnson appears onstage and is surprised when the crowd gently passes his baby girl. As he takes the baby into his arms, Dwayne Johnson smiles wide.
“Her father caught my attention because he had tears in his eyes when he held her up high and gestured for me to hold her. And whatever this moment meant for her emotional father – means it meant something special for me too,” Johnson captioned the post.
Johnson, who plays Black Adam in the DC superhero movie of same name, stated that the name of the little girl is Luciana.
Luciana’s father was criticized by few social media users for leaving Luciana’s safety in the hands strangers at a crowd-filled event.
Taking it to Twitter, one user asked, “What parent does this?”
“I mean this is cute and all, but crowd-surfing a baby? What if someone accidentally dropped her or something?” another user asked.

While some people criticized it for endangering children’s lives, others said it was harmless fan gesture.
