Malcolm Brogdon talks about helping the Celtics to navigate sudden coaching changes

It doesn’t happen often, yet Brogdon has seen it before. Only three seasons were spent with the PacersHowever, each offseason was a new start for the franchise. Brogdon was slated to be a leader on that team, but the organization’s plans never could be fully realized. McMillan was fired because of his results, Bjrokgren because he failed to control the team, and Carlisle came in as a rebuilder. There was at least some reason for the chain of events in Indiana, but Boston’s process isn’t simply a response to results. They want to win now. As everyone tries to determine if the minutes or touches they fought for will be the same under a new regime Brogdon already knows how it can turn out.

“I was the leader in Indiana,” Brogdon told The Athletic. “I was the guy that guys relied on to be the vocal leader, but also lead by example and lead on the court as well.
