LSU’s Jayden Daniels records 5 combined TDs, hands Ole Miss first loss of season

Ole Miss has fallen to the beaten track and is now not unbeaten. LSU TigersAt Tiger Stadium, it was 45-20 Saturday. The Tigers are currently 6-2. RebelsThey are 7-1.

The Rebels began strong, running back Quinshon JudkinsIn the first quarter, LSU recorded two rushing touchdowns. After the first quarter, LSU scored two touchdowns and the Rebels were up 14-3. Halftime: Ole Miss led by 20-17

The Tigers improved their score to 24-20 thanks to a critical takeaway from defense in the final zone. Joe Foucha interception.

LSU marched downfield on the following possession with Daniels running a 17-yard touchdown. Tigers running back Josh WilliamsThe Tigers extended their lead in the fourth quarter by running a touchdown one yard short. This was the culmination of an eight-play 38-yard drive.

LSU beat Ole Miss by halftime. The team went on a 42-3 win streak over the final three quarters. Daniels finished 21-for-28 in the air for 248 passing yard and two touchdowns. Daniels ran 23 times on the ground for 121 yards and three touchdowns.

LSU will play AlabamaNext up, Tiger Stadium will host the SEC West championship. Ole Miss will travel to College Station to take on Texas A&M on Oct. 29.
