Shelters have many wonderful dogs that are ready to be adopted. Because there are so many dogs available, the chances of an older dog being adopted are lower. These two puppies have waited too long to find their forever home.
User @ericaroslyn shared a video of two elderly Chihuahuas at a shelter she works in on TikTok. The two puppies, Macho and Chacho have been at Wags and Walks Rescue for more than 400 days. They’ve seen many other dogs, including younger ones, find forever homes and they are now wondering when it will be their turn. These adorable puppies are available for you to help in finding a home.

Chacho and Macho look so cute! We are so sorry for these guys. We want them all to live in a loving, comfortable environment as they age.

We are shocked and saddened that no one has expressed an interest in adopting these adorable puppies, as stated by @maggielily41102, who added, “I hope they get adopted soon. We pray they find their families quickly. It is very disappointing to know that they have been at the shelter for over 400 days. It’s not fair to the dog!
