During his ITV Show PestonRobert Peston, a political editor tried to say “Jeremy Hunt’s cuts”. Unfortunately, some of his sounds got a little confused.

Journalists have been plagued by Hunt’s surname for many years. Back in 2010, Radio 4 presenter James Naughtie made a similar slipHunt was Culture secretary.

Sky presenter Sophie Ridge, who was presenting from the studio, made the same mistakes as Hunt earlier in the year.

Are reporters going to stop getting Jeremy Hunt’s name wrong? Most likely not. The gaffes will only increase now that he is in such a high-ranking position.
