House (1 District)
This cycleAll 40 seats in Alaska House of Representatives are up to election. Republicans currently hold 6 of the remaining seats.
The Alaska House is subject to a power-sharing agreement. This cycle, the chamber is up for grabs and Republicans have the advantage. While the Senate is currently controlled by Republicans, it is generally expected that they will continue as such. It is however still a competitive cycle.
For the past seven years, the state has been run under a divided government.
