Lindsay Lohan speaks out about the rumors surrounding potential sequels to ‘Freaky Friday’, ‘Mean Girls’ films

While on Jimmy Fallon stars on The Tonight ShowIn an open discussion, she revealed that she would be willing to work on sequels for her hit films. Freaky FridayAnd Mean Girls.

As per DeadlineRecently, the actress appeared on Jimmy Fallon stars on The Tonight ShowTo promote her latest movie, Christmas Evewhere she was asked about her involvement in future sequels.

This question came after Jamie Lee Curtis who played Lindsay’s mother in the 2003 hit film Freaky FridayLohan, who was interested in making a follow up movie, confirmed that Curtis had contacted her about it.

Lindsay shared her thoughts about the incident and said Curtis approached her while she was filming the holiday movie. “I was on set filming at the time and Jamie Lee Curtis writes you, you just get excited and distracted immediately,” the actress recalled.

She continued, “So I had to bring myself down to Earth and be like, ‘OK, I’m on set, I have to focus.’ And then she said Freaky Friday 2 and I got more excited.”

Curtis, 36-years-old actress, added that Curtis and her would love to make another film based upon their relationship. Freaky Friday characters.

The Tonight ShowJimmy Fallon asked her about a sequel for another movie. Mean Girls to which Lohan replied, “that’s in Tina Fey’s hands.”

Netflix movie Christmas EveLindsay Lohan stars as a young heiress, who is in an accident and is diagnosed with amnesia. Chord Overstreet, George Young, Jack Wagner, Olivia Perez, and Olivia Perez are also featured in the film.
