Lensa on Android:

There are still situations in which apps are only available on iPhones, but not on Android. This was an issue that used to be much more prevalent a few years back, but is still a problem today.

Lensa? No matter what smartphone you have, there is good news. This is because the Lensa app can be downloaded for iPhones Android phones. Lensa can be downloaded on any Android phone that runs Android 8.0 or higher.

Lensa is a thief of art?

The AI selfies from Lensa are undeniably cool — but they’ve also raised an interesting question around the app, and AI art in general. Is the Lensa app using artificial Intelligence to steal artwork from human artists?

Artist Jenny YokoboriI put together a series of Tweets explaining why Lensa was harmful. She goes on to say, “These AI aren’t harmless. They are predatory, and their art will always be inferior to something drawn by someone who has worked hard at their craft.

Some artists Follow Meg Rae’s Twitter accountLensa uses Stable Difusion to create its AI images, as well as the fact that it is a Stable Diffusion model. Stable Diffusion powers image generation. Meg Rae says that Stable Diffusion “is a legal loophole to extract artists from the licensing process for images any for profit corporation would have to pay.”

What does this all mean? Really mean? Stable Diffusion and Lensa don’t break any laws. There is an ethical gray area and you will have to decide whether you are comfortable with it. The Lensa app generates hundreds more images at a fraction of the price of a human artist. Is that worth paying for an AI system instead of a true artist? Here’s where things get complicated.
