Technical issues with the officiating equipment caused Sunday’s match to be stopped after 69 seconds.
Referee Chris Kavanagh appeared to have lost contact between VAR and goalline technology systems. The scoreboard was also blank at the stadium.
After the 2pm kickoff, the players waited around on the pitch for 10 minutes before Kavanagh directed them to go down the tunnel.
The stadium announcer informed fans inside the stadium that the match had been paused due to a “power cut” in the stadium.
