The third installment VeNom Kelly Marcel will direct the franchise. Kelly Marcel was both a producer and writer on the first two iterations.
According to DeadlineTom Hardy, who is a star in the franchise’s history, will play the title role. Marcel and Hardy will be producing the screenplay based on a story they co-wrote.
The plot details are still being discussed, but Hardy will most likely reprise his role of Venom, the lethal protector after the movies’ $1.36 billion global box office revenue.
It is unknown what the cast of Tom Hardy’s movie will look like, or if any Marvel characters will be involved in the film.

Ruben Fleischer directed the first movie and Andy Serkis directed the latest. However, Marcel was present from the beginning, as Venom’s adventures were being planned.
Deadline insiders claim that Marcel and Hardy had always agreed on the storyline of Venom and were still in agreement at the end.
Tom Hardy posted on social media earlier this year that Marcel was still working on the script. Reports state that Marcel took over the directing duties as Marcel and Tom were working on the plot.
