Kari Lake claims she will not be intimidated. She expects even more threats after HQ is given’suspicious ‘powder’

Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari LakeMonday’s announcement by her stated that she won’t allow any bad actors to intimidate or harass her. She was notified Monday that “suspicious” items had been mailed to her headquarters. It is believed that the threat was politically motivated.

After her staff opened an envelope containing a package containing a bribe, Lake’s Phoenix headquarters had to close down on Sunday. White powder that looks suspicious. Fox News’ Lake said Monday that local law enforcement, the FBI, the fire department, and the bomb squad responded promptly. Law enforcement retrieved multiple envelopes for analysis. However, the results are not yet shared with Lake.

“We had delivered at our office a couple of envelopes that had white powder in them, one of them our staffer opened up and immediately realized there was a problem with it, threw it in the garbage can and then another staffer grabbed it from the garbage can and then all of a sudden we had several people exposed to it,” Lake said on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

Lake revealed that the suspicious powder came with “incredibly vulgar and threatening letters”.

“We take it as a legitimate threat, but we’re just happy our staffers are okay,” she said, adding that while she’s been busy on the campaign trail in the waning hours before Election Day, she has been regularly monitoring the health of her exposed staffers.

“So far, so good, but we are counting on the FBI to let us know if we should be concerned of any danger,” she said.

Lake was disturbed by the attacks on her campaign, but shee seemed unfazed and told Carlson that she is ready for “much more” in the event she wins Tuesday’s governorship election.

“I’ll be honest, this is minor compared to what I’m going to go up against when I win this race. We will secure the border and eliminate the cartels at that border. I don’t think threatening letters are going to be the worst of it. I think there’s much more coming,” she told Carlson.

Lake declared that she would not be influenced by intimation tactics if she is elected and will continue to fulfill her campaign promises to Arizona voters.

“We are prepared for it. We won’t be intimidated. We have big issues facing us, we have a border with narco-terrorists in control,” she said. “And while I’m upset that these letters were sent, and I’m monitoring and care deeply about my staff, I know that there will be more threats to come, and we will stare them down because we will secure Arizona.”

Lake’s remarks come less than 24hrs before Katie Hobbs, Democratic opponent, addresses Lake. Hobbs was a former anchor on local news and has become a fierce critic of the press. Governorship race in Arizona. Last week, police responded to a reported break-in at Hobbs’ campaign headquarters in Phoenix. Hobbs initially blamed Lake’s rhetoric, but it was later revealed that an illegal immigrant, Daniel Mota Dos is 36 years old.In the burglary case, he was arrested. 

Lake spoke to reporters Sunday night. He attributed political polarization’s rise to the media.

Lake stated, “We live in such polarized times. This is one reason I walked away form the fake news media. I realized that it is a large part of it pitting people against each other.” “You guys want this for us?” I think Americans and Arizonans are more united on issues than you want us to believe.
