Kari Lake calls Arizona the ‘Laughingstock of Elections.

  • On Sunday Morning Futures, the Arizona Governor’s Candidate Kari Lake criticized the state’s election process.

  • Lake called Arizona’s voting processes “embarrassing” as well as Arizona “the laughingstock in elections.”

While waiting for the results of the election that will decide whether she will become Arizona’s next Governor, Kari Lake, a GOP candidate, took to Fox News to criticize her state’s voting system.

It’s been five days since Election Day and votes are still being tallied in the battleground state’s gubernatorial race. Lake is slightly behind Democratic nominee Katie Hobbs as of publication.

She continued to mention in-person delays, voting machines without toner, and other evidence that the state had difficulty administering an efficient election. Lake stated, “We must get in there and rebuild faith in our elections.””We cannot be the laughingstock of Arizona’s elections any more, and I won’t allow it when I become governor. “I just won’t.”

Republicans won the four Arizona Governor’s Races with between 52%-56%. Although voter fraud claims were similar to those made in the previous election cycle against Arizona, a Republican led analysis of the 2020 race showed that elections in the state are secure and that there is no evidence of fraud. The Washington Post reported

Nearly 90% of all votes in Arizona have been counted for this year’s race. Final results will be announced on Monday. Hobbs is currently leading Lake with 50.8% vote for Governor’s Seat.
