Kanye West’s comments about Lizzo’s weight seem to have been met with a response from Lizzo

Lizzo appeared to have addressed Kanye’s comments about her weight, while giving a powerful new speech for her Special tour.

Kanye West made comments about Lizzo in an interview last week with Tucker Carlson. These remarks were considered fat-shaming.

“When Lizzo loses 10 pounds and announces it, the bots on Instagram, they attack her losing weight, because the media wants to put out a perception that being overweight is the new goal when it’s actually unhealthy. It’s demonic,” he had said.

Kanye has reportedly called Lizzo out for her “motherfucking names” and she has reportedly responded.

Lizzo stopped her performance at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto one day after Kanye’s comments (October 7, 2010) and stated that she felt like everyone in America had my motherfucking name in it for no motherfucking purpose. I’m taking care of my beautiful fat Black business. Can I remain here? For dual citizenship, who can I marry?

Lizzo’s reply comes at a moment when Kanye is being surrounded by many controversies. Kanye was criticised for wearing “White Lives Matter” shirts in his Yeezy collection before his Tucker Carlson appearance. Kanye, 45, has been criticized for his anti-Semitic remarks on social media.

Twitter locked Kanye’s Twitter account on Sunday after he deleted a tweet containing an anti-Semitic comment. Meta also restricted his Instagram account after he suggested that Diddy was under Jewish people’s control.

Kanye has not yet apologized for his comments.
