Kamala Harris talks Marijuana Decriminalization during Late Night With Seth Meyers

Kamala Harris, the Vice President, continued to call for pardons from governors for marijuana possession in her first late-night television interview. 

Harris was interviewed by Seth Meyers on Monday night on “Late Night with Seth Meyers”. He was asked what the next steps would be in marijuana policy after President Joe Biden declared last week that he would pardon thousands convicted of possessing pot. 

Harris informed Meyers that the White House will continue to press governors for action but also stated that Congress should adopt a uniform approach to the drug.

Harris stated that “Ultimately though, though, like so many issues there is a uniform approach if Congress acts to this and other issues but Congress must act.” We are only 29 days away from midterms.
