Jurgen Klopp joked he’d probably get drunk celebrating Liverpool’s thumping 7-1 win over Rangers in the Champions League.

It was a splendid evening on what’s been a far from splendid season, however, a familiar problem cropped up for the Reds in Glasgow.
Rangers’ Scott Arfield scored the opening goal. Liverpool are now behind in nine of their 12 matches and in 15 of their 19 previous encounters since the end of last year.
They showed enough strength to win the match and return to the top. However, Klopp revealed that it is a tradition for Klopp to offer a beer after a match. He also said that the weekend will be different.
His joke about getting boozy was mixed with a bit of seriousness. Liverpool will host Manchester City on Sunday, the Premier League champions.
On the win, Klopp said: “It’s changed the mood definitely, it’s completely different.
“We usually drink a beer after winning away games, it’s been so long that I will probably be drunk after one!
“It’s good but we all know who we are welcoming on Sunday and this will be a different game but it’s better to go into a game with the feeling we got tonight than any other.”
Meanwhile, talkSPORT’s Jason Cundy believes this is an issue that needs resolving as soon as possible.
Cundy said on The Sports Bar: “There’s no question that they’re having a rough ride right now and they keep conceding the first goal – they’ve got to stop doing that.
“We saw what happened to Brighton the other day, they went 2-0 up and started playing with a swagger and Liverpool, because they concede the first goal, have got to keep chasing the game.
“Liverpool at their best, where they’ve got you where they want you is when they’re 1-0 up and you’ve got to chase the game.
“Those games there, very few of them are where Liverpool love to be.
“Last season in the Champions League they went 1-0 and 2-0 up and just wiped teams out. That’s not happening right now and there’s a problem, stop conceding the first goal.
“Playing against Liverpool 18 months ago, you were scared… they’ve got to get that back, especially at Anfield. They’ve lost that.”
