Julio Jones’ Atlanta home burglarized, suspect wearing stolen items quickly arrested

Former Atlanta Falcons players call this home football player Julio JonesHe was playing in Florida with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday when he was burglarized.

In a news release Atlanta police Officers responded to a report of burglary at Buckhead residence. Officers arrived at the residence to find that the property belonged Jones.

Fox 5 Atlanta reported that various clothing and jewelry, including NFL apparel and Charles Barkley Nike shoes, had been stolen from the house.

An Atlanta police officer arrests 31-year-old Martin Williams, who is accused of burglarizing the home of former Falcons star Julio Jones.

Atlanta police claimed that officers used technology to identify the male suspect and broadcast the information on the radio.

Soon after, Officer workingAn off-duty extra patrolman spotted a man who matched the description. Martin Williams, 31, was later identified as the man who was wearing the stolen sweatshirt when the officer approached him.

Atlanta PD released bodycam footage that shows an officer asking Williams to get down and asking if there are any weapons.

Williams jumped on the ground, claiming that he wasn’t armed. He was immediately taken into custody.

According to Atlanta police, Williams was arrested in the Fulton County JailTwo counts of first-degree theft were brought against him.

Fox 5 reported that Vayens credited the “swift arrest”, to the detailed radio descriptions. Vayens stated that he wishes everyone the best. Case of burglaryIt could be just like this one.”
