FIFA reveals are getting better and Jude Bellingham has added a new dimension to the mix by releasing his own show.
The Borussia Dortmund and England superstarHe stepped behind a curtain, dressed in smart clothes with his band and invited friends to join him as guests.
The players taking part, including Marco Reus and Nico Schlotterbeck who couldn’t stop laughing, then had to take a quiz before getting their copy of the game.
Bellingham, 19, is known for his passion for FIFA, having previously complained about his attributes and doing ratings reveals.
Things are now even grander, though. The former Birmingham man has a room at Signal Iduna Park with a sofa and band at his disposal like Jimmy Fallon or Jonathan Ross.
First though, he had to see his own rating of 84, and said: “Not bad, there’s a lot worse in there that we’re about to see.”
Reus struggled to contain his shock at seeing the setup with Niklas Sule and his guests.
Karim Adeyemi was also able to pass through, along with Schlotterbeck and Emre Kan, an ex- Liverpool player dressed in all his playing gear.
“Thank you for being in full kit, it shows dedication,” Bellingham said.
“Of course, I’m always ready to play,” Can replied.
Reus then managed to give his thoughts, saying: “Honestly it looks great, really.”
To which Bellingham replied: “I really appreciate it bro, I’m trying so hard here to be the host.”
The ratings for the summer signings from Bayern Munich, Sule and Bellingham were a little surprising.
“That’s a nice card bro, a little bit too high though Nicky?” he asked.
“Yeah a little bit too high,” Sule replied honestly.
Scholtterbeck was even more surprising for Bellingham, who brought home 82 overall and stunned his English teammate.
“82?” Bellingham said, stunned. “Who do you know at EA?”
After realizing their boxes were empty, the BVB players asked questions to win their personalized case.
Reus managed to beat it, though, easily guessing both his 2017 edition and that of David Beckham’s 1998 edition.
Bellingham is closely linked to a possible departure from the Bundesliga next season, with the likes Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City are all waiting for his signature.
Dortmund’s fans will be eager to see him stay. This is not just because of his footballing ability, but also because of how he presents. Last season, a FIFA reveal was held, with Erling Haaland reacting hilariously.
The Norwegian was happy with his 88 overall card, but after being told Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappe received 91, he said ‘no comment’ and stormed off.
