It is unlikely that this casual outing will soothe Republicans who claim they conspired in pay to play business dealings in which they allegedly traded access the White House in return for huge personal wealth for their families.

Bidens deny any wrongdoing. The president even went as far as to say that he did not coordinate business deals with his son.
The FBIInvestigators are already looking into Hunter Biden’s allegations of money laundering and possible illegal foreign lobbying.
Republicans have promised to launch their own investigation of the Bidens’ business relationship when they retake a majority in the House of Representatives — and the power of investigative authority — next year.

After Republicans drummed up concern over Hunter Biden’s laptop earlier this week, the White HouseThey were accused of launching “politically motivated strikes chock full long-debunked conspiracy theories”.
“Instead of working with President Biden to address issues important to the American people, like lower costs, congressional Republicans’ top priority is to go after President Biden with politically motivated attacks chock full of long-debunked conspiracy theories,” Ian Sams, a White House Counsel’s office spokesman, said Thursday.

He added: “President Biden is not going to let these political attacks distract him from focusing on Americans’ priorities, and we hope congressional Republicans will join us in tackling them instead of wasting time and resources on political revenge.”
Democrats currently hold a majority in Congress and have chosen to not investigate the alleged wrongdoing. However, they continue to investigate the former President Donald Trump.
