Rep. Jared Golden (D-Maine), purchased over 200 lobsters from Maine to attend Thursday’s event. He expressed frustration at the administration’s choice of menu.
Golden tweeted: “If the Biden White House is able to prioritize purchasing 200 Maine Lobsters for a fancy Dinner, @POTUS ought also to take the time meet with the Maine lobstermen whose businesses he is currently regulating,”

Jimmy Failla of Fox Radio called the dinner “ridiculous”, slamming the Biden government’s “constant lack of concern for suffering” due to their own policies.
“People are getting smoked because of their policies and they continue to try to sell us the perception that these are well-intended progressive Democrats, but they’re screwing the little guy,” he stated.
