Jason David Frank, Tommy Oliver’s beloved actor, is remembered fondly by his fans. Power Rangers Frank, who was 49 years old, died on Saturday. Frank’s passing was announced on Saturday. He was confirmed via Instagram by his talent rep.
Frank is best-known for his involvement in the original series of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 1993: Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger. He appeared in 14 episodes in that first season. However, he became one of the most well-known characters in the franchise and was featured in 10 series as well as four movies.
He plays an important role beyond his involvement in Power RangersFrank was a professional mixed-martial artist who was well-versed in Judo and Taekwondo. Frank’s fans and friends are paying tribute to the icon on social media.
Walter E. Jones, Fellow Rangers Blake Foster and Frank Foster both expressed condolences for Frank’s death.
“RIP Jason David Frank,” Jones wrote on Instagram. “My heart is sad to have lost another member of our special family.”
