Jan. 6th committee Trump subpoena – An attempt to divert conversation in advance of the midterms, according to political insiders

The House Select Committee issued a subpoena on Jan. 6 to former Donald TrumpFriday was the day in which the Capitol Riot of 2021 took place. This decision by the committee could impact the nationwide midterm elections that are only two weeks away.

Trump is asked to appear in a deposition at 10 a.m. on November 14th, either at the U.S. Capitol, or via video conference. He will also be required to provide records about his actions on Jan. 6, 2021, when rioters stormed Capitol Building. Trump was not asked to appear at an open hearing by the committee.

The subpoena asks for documents and communications between Trump’s aides, staff, colleagues, and Signal, an encrypted message app.

Kellyanne Conway is a Fox News contributor and pollster who was previously a senior advisor to Trump during his tenure as president. White HouseHe insists that January 6’s events are not top concerns of voters, and that the subpoena’s timing is “symbolic as well as suspicious.”

“January 6th, was a horrible day in our nation’s history. Conway made the following statement to Fox News Digital: “I’m still shocked and not in amazement.” “650 days later and voters are focusing not on January 6th which was ranked the NINETEENTH most critical issue in the Harvard Harris poll, but rising crime and rising cost,” Conway stated.
