This term, everything is going well for Table-Toppers Arsenal

Their latest outing saw them pass a massive test. Liverpool got the betterAt the Emirates Stadium, he won 3-2.

But few could deny the electric Gunners deserved the win as they opened Jurgen Klopp’s men up on numerous occasions.

Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka (two) were the scorers for Arsenal and Danny Murphy hailed manager Mikel Arteta in getting Arsenal’s youngsters to flourish.

“One of the reasons those two young lads are flying, apart from their brilliant ability, is because around them they’ve got stability and they’ve got a system,” Murphy told talkSPORT.

“They’ve got people like Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard and Granit Xhaka, more senior boys, who all know their roles and are confident in what they’re doing and they just give those two the freedom.

“The system that Arteta’s set up… everyone knows their jobs so well. It helps those two flourish.”

Murphy also gives Murphy a lot of credit to Arteta, for helping them succeed.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher admitted his pre-match nerves came true and believes it’s more than just the playing system that’s thriving at Arsenal.

“I feared that going into the game that they’d have too much intensity and pace for Liverpool and that was proven,” Carragher told Sky Sports.

“In terms of Arsenal, I’ve always been a big fan of what Mikel Arteta’s doing. I love the energy of the team, I love the bravery of using those young players and I just love the energy in this stadium right now – it’s something I haven’t seen since I’ve been doing this job.

“There’s an energy there, there’s a togetherness, the song that they sing ‘north London forever’, and just listening to it, you can feel something.”

Roy Keane was impressed by the work of the north Londoners.

Asked if Arsenal are City’s biggest challengers, Keane said: “At the moment, yeah. There is no doubt.

“They’re playing with confidence, even the game they lost to Manchester United they played quite well but it was just one of those days.

“They’ve got a bit of physicality in the team, they’ve got two centre halves. I know they’ve got a mistake in them but there’s that physical presence.

“They’ve got good experience in midfield, they’ve got young players with energy, full of talent, they’re scoring goals.

“The atmosphere at the ground is electric, they’ve got that momentum. So at this moment they are the biggest threat to Man City.”

And if Keane, who’s never shied away from criticising Arsenal in the past, is praising them then anything really is possible this season.
