Fans of the hit 2009 Avatar have been patiently waiting for over a decade for James Cameron’s sequel The Way of Water Avatar.
When AvatarWhen it was released in 2009 the film proved to be a game-changer and also became the highest-grossing film.
The director of the upcoming science-fiction movie has revealed he’s willing to wrap up the franchise with the third part.

“The market could be telling us we’re done in three months, or we might be semi-done, meaning: ‘Okay, let’s complete the story within movie three, and not go on endlessly,’ if it’s just not profitable … We’re in a different world now than we were when I wrote this stuff, even,” James Cameron said.
“It’s the one-two punch — the pandemic and streaming,” Cameron said “Or, conversely, maybe we’ll remind people what going to the theater is all about. The film certainly does that. The question is: how many people give a s*** now?”
The film The Way of Water AvatarStars Zoe Saldana (Sam Worthington), Stephen Lang (Stephen Lang), Kate Winslet (Kate Winslet), and Sigourney Weber (Sigourney Weaver). The film will hit theatres on December 16, 2022.
