Donald Trump’s lawyers argue that it is a thinly disguised account of their relationship. It also violates a gag order which prohibits her from discussing their marriage.

“Ivana has always represented the Trump brand,” Jia Tolentino of The New Yorker wrote, in her review for the 2017 Czech-American memoir, “Raising Trump.”“She wants to appear dominant, invulnerable and new-money deluxe in the book.”

The home has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The house is decorated in leopard print, Chinese paintings, and in one room, pink marmalade. Ivana Trump called it an “infinite closet”.

She wrote that she called it Indochine because it ends on a continent. 

Her ex-husband shared Ivana’s love for gold in the house as well.

Donald Trump’s New York apartment has gold furnishings and embellishments. according to House & Garden magazine.

The ex-couple’s love for gold has endured for many years after their separation.

During the Republican Party’s 2016 nominating conventionTrump was flanked with gold columns and gold staircases leading to a golden-outlined lectern. His Mar-a-Lago resortTrump’s 2024 campaign announcement was made in the same spot, which is also decorated with gold.

Eric Trump spoke about Ivana’s fierce nature, both as a mother and as an individual in his remembrance speech.

He stated, “She ruled the trio of us with an Iron fist, but also a Heart of Gold.”
