The s9+ was a powerful cleaner in our tests. It is not as loud as other robo-vacs of this price range. It was not as loud emptying the bin into its clean base as the Roomba J7 so it is less likely to cause fear in your pets. However, the clean base uses proprietary bags from iRobot.
