Foxconn, which produces the iPhone and iPads for Apple, unveiled a pickup truck that it intends to make in the U.S.
The tech contract manufacturer is the owner of a Lordstown, Ohio factory, where it plans on opening. A series of electric vehicles can be builtFor the company that wants to license it, and for other companies.
The pickup’s full details have yet to be announced. It is a mid-size truck similar to the Chevrolet Canyon and electric Rivian R1T. It has seating for five.

Foxconn stated that the vehicle can tow up to 6,600 lbs and transport up to 2,200 lbs, but it was not clear what its power or driving range would be.

The Model V is a tablet-maker’s expected product. It has a digital instrument cluster as well as a touchscreen infotainment with a single knob at the center console.

Side-view cameras are also available, which display the images directly in front of the driver on the screen. Although this technology isn’t yet permitted by U.S. law, it has been approved for other countries.
