iPickup? Foxconn iPhone maker unveils USA-built truck

Foxconn, which produces the iPhone and iPads for Apple, unveiled a pickup truck that it intends to make in the U.S.

The tech contract manufacturer is the owner of a Lordstown, Ohio factory, where it plans on opening. A series of electric vehicles can be builtFor the company that wants to license it, and for other companies.

The pickup’s full details have yet to be announced. It is a mid-size truck similar to the Chevrolet Canyon and electric Rivian R1T. It has seating for five.

Although no timeline has been set, the Lordstown plant already produces the s and will start producing the Fisker Pear compact vehicle in 2024.
