The Magpies were the draw specialists in this season’s first seven games. They had drawn five of their initial seven games. However, they have scored 11 goals in their last two matches in 4-1 and 5-1, wins over Fulham, Brentford, and Brentford.
Last season’s 1-1 draw at St James’ Park between the two side put an end to a four match winning streak for United against the Magpies, who have won at Old Trafford only once in the last 50 years.
