Moscow, Idaho policeA press conference will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. PST. This comes one week after four University of Idaho students were fatally stabbed in a home near campus.
James Fry, Chief of the Moscow Police Department, will give an update on Sunday’s murder investigation in the Alumni Lounge at the Idaho Central Credit Union. It is the second press conference held by the police department, KREM 2 reported.
Mystery surrounding the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and Kernodle’s boyfriend Ethan Chapin, 20, has intensified, with police not naming a suspect in the case seven days after their deaths. Chapin was visiting his girlfriend at home at the time, and they were roommates when they were tragically murdered.
Each person died due to stab wounds. Unidentified weapon still remains.

While no suspect has been identified yet, a handful have been ruled possible suspects. Committing the murders.

Two other roommates were also at home during the crime, but police have dismissed them as suspects.

Goncalves and Mogen were seen at a food truck early Sunday morning and were taken home by a “private party,” according to police. Authorities saidThey “do not believe that he is involved with this crime.”

The suspect was also identified as the man seen on video at the food truck.

The investigation is being led by the Moscow Police Department, which has about 50 FBI agents as well as other local police departments.
