It was amazing to see how they stayed in touch over the years. They met up many times to deepen their friendship and also to allow Kai’s former owner to see the progress Kai made. Adopting one of Kai’s children is further evidence that, despite the challenges of life, change is the only thing that is constant in the universe.
It’s just too sweet to put into words how this man’s life was transformed so that he could give the “grand dog” a new home. The fact that these two individuals grew to be closest friends is another evidence of how a dog’s love can unite people.
