“From the opening episode of where? [Jen]Talks about being female and how to deal with anger, sexism and other issues every day [“Ribbit or Rip It”]Coiro stated that there is a lot to explore about being a woman, including the betrayal of walking down an alley and being jumped on by guys at night.

Coiro found that watching these situations play out onscreen was cathartic. “I was recently exposed to some very intense sexism. [Jen’s]Coiro stated that the words of the pilot echo in my mind. This is something I deal with every day. Men condescending towards me are a constant part of my life. It was amazing to have that topic discussed in popular culture.
