Hillary Clinton compares Trump’s Ohio event with a Nazi rally

AUSTIN, Texas — Hillary Clinton likened Donald Trump’s rallyLast weekend, Adolf Hitler was seen in Ohio courting Nazis. This comparison drew sharp criticism from a former president’s spokesman. 

“I remember as a youngster trying to figure how Hitler could bring people into his country. How is that possible? I used to watch newsreels, and there was this man standing there ranting and screaming and people raising their arms. I wondered, “What happened to these people?” Clinton spoke at the Texas Tribune Festival, Austin. 

“You saw the Ohio: rallyTrump was ranting and raving the other night for over an hour. Then you see these rows of young men raising their arms. “What is the matter?” I wondered.

Trump hosted a rally last Saturday in Youngstown to support JDVance, the US Senate Candidate. Ryan is facing Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan as he attempts to replace the retiring Republican Sen. Rob Portman.

Several Trump supporters raised their index fingers in the air after the speech by the former president. 

“My fellow citizens, this incredible journey we’re on together has only just begun, and it is time to start talking about greatness for our country again. We are one movement, one person, one family and one glorious American nationTrump stated, “Yes,” to the crowd. 

Trump’s spokesperson Taylor Budowich accused Clinton of using “some of the most disgusting smears possible.”

“It seems like perpetual-failed-candidate Hillary Clinton’s“Bake of deplorables is stale,” Budowich stated to Fox News Digital in a statement. “It’s pathetic, it’s divisive, and it is further cementing her legacy of cringe.”

Others also compared Trump’s event to a Nazi rally. 

NEW YORK AG SUES TRUMP OVER FRAUDALLEGATIONS

New York state senator Anna Kaplan, a Democrat who is representing Long Island and parts thereof, asked Americans to join her in denouncing Nazi imagery and symbolism anywhere in the political process.

Kaplan stated in a Sunday statement that supporters were asked to raise their hands in a united salute at the rally by the former President and at the rally today by a candidate to be Governor of Pennsylvania. This salute should shock every American’s conscience for its striking similarity to the Nazi salute.

Clinton also attacked Trump for trying overturn the results in the 2020 presidential election. She stated that she is concerned about the loss of the rule of Law. 

Friday’s statement by Sherry was “I think it’s fair to say that we’re in the struggle between democracy and Autocracy”.
