Herschel Walk admits to having a relationship with a woman who accuses him of paying for an abort.

  • Walker confirmed to NBC he dated the woman who claimed he paid for her abortion.
  • He said that he had not sent money to her for an abortion but that he would have been able to send her money at one point.
  • According to The New York Times, the woman claimed Walker encouraged her for a second pregnancy.

Scandal-riddenGOP Senate candidate Herschel Walk, who is facing allegations that he A woman was given $700 to have an abortion in 2009.NBC News interviewed him and he confirmed to NBC News that he is acquainted with the woman accused of the allegation. 

He also confirmed that the lady was One of his children’s mother, NBC reported.

The Daily Beast reported Monday that Walker — a staunch anti-abortion advocate — paid a woman he had gotten pregnant to get an abortion. The Daily Beast received evidence from the woman in the form a $575 receipt from the abortion clinic, an image and signature of Walker as well as a “get well” card.

Walker, however, said Friday that he could have sent materials to the woman, but not for the reasons she’s stating.

“I can’t recall any check or card. But, I was with her. I could have sent some cash. Walker stated that he could have sent a letter to NBC. 

NBC also obtained text messages sent Friday by Walker’s spouse Julie Walker to Walker’s former partner. In the texts, the woman tells Walker’s wife — who initiated the conversation — if she knew that Walker asked her to have an abortion twice.

“This message makes my heart ache. You are aware that I have tried to build a stronger relationship between you, Herschel. [the child]According to NBC, Walker’s wife replied “first,”

The woman also accused Walker of encouraging her to get a second abortion, but she did not go through with it, The New York Times reported Friday.The Times confirmed that the Daily Beast reported through custody reports, as well as an interview given to Walker by a friend.

According to the Times, Walker and the woman (anonymous) soon broke up.

Walker stated to NBC that Walker has been furious at Walker for years. “It is very difficult,” Walker said. “She’s a huge, big advocate of abortion rights; she has said that.” 

Walker is challenging Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock for the Georgia Senate seat.

While Walker’s support among hardline Republicans will not be affected by the revelations, they could cause some to distance themselves from Walker. Insider was told by experts.GOP leaders have been vocal in their support for the abortion claims. Walker has been supported by the community.

Donald Trump was a former President Walker was previously an endorserHowever, he’s now trying to keep his distance from the troubled candidate. CNN reported.

Insider asked Walker for comment but was not immediately able to get back to him.
