Henry Cavill’s SupermanMade a cameo in the recently released Black Adam.
Henry Cavill, who made a brief appearance at the end the film’s recently released film, took to his official Instagram to confirm that he would be back as Superman in a Warner Bros.-DC film on October 24, 2022 Black Adam.
Sharing a video, the actor wrote, “A very small taste of what’s to come, my friends. The dawn of hope is restored. Thank you for your patience, it will be rewarded.”
The 39-year-old actor, talking about his return in the video said, “I wanted to make it official- I am back as Superman.” Promising there’s more to come and thanking the audience, the actor continued, “Thank you for your support and thank you for your patience. I promise it will be rewarded.”
Two days after making the announcement on social media, the actor spoke publicly for the first time about reprising his role as Superman during a live taping of MTV’s Josh Horowitz’s Happy and Sad ConfusedPodcast at 92NY New York City
As per Variety, the actor said, “The character means so much to me. It’s been five years now. I never gave up hope.”
“It’s amazing to be here now talking about it again. The character has a bright future. I’m so excited to tell a story with an enormously joyful Superman.”
Cavill said that he received a call while filming Netflix’s fantasy series. The WitcherHis Superman cameo appearance in the film Black AdamIt was something he needed to keep a secret.
