Helen MirrenHarrison Ford was credited with helping to mold her into the actress that she is today.
Mirren said that he was a movie star when they first worked together and that he was like no one. This was at the premiere of “1923” on Friday night. “So, I was very intimidated.”
“I learned a lot from him because I hadn’t done a lot. At that time, I had seen a lot of theatre. [but] I hadn’t done a lot of movies. So I watched him and he taught me a great deal about film acting that, to this day, I’m still using.”
In 1986, Ford and Mirren were the first to work together. They were husband and wife in Peter Weir’s “The Mosquito Coast.” Ford was well-known for his roles in “Star Wars” (Indiana Jones) films at the time.

Mirren has remained a role model for him, and he is just as admiring of her now as he was back then.
Ford stated that she admired her work and her personality back then and still has the same admiration for her. “She’s just a lovely person, so it’s been both a professional pleasure and also a personal pleasure to be able to work with her again.”
Ford and Mirren star together at the Prequel to “1923”: “Yellowstone”.
“1923” is set in early 20th-century America and follows the Dutton clan through the Great Depression. Paramount+ premiered the series Dec. 18, 2018.

Mirren talked about how she developed her character in a previous interview for Vanity Fair.
“I wanted her to speak with an Irish accent and not an American accent. It’s always slightly annoyed me with Westerns that you have all these people speaking with modern American accents when in fact so many of them were fairly recent immigrants,” she told the outlet.
Taylor Sheridan, writer-producer, is behind the hit franchise. It began with “Yellowstone”, a contemporary drama led by Kevin Costner. Faith Hill stars in “1883”, while Tim McGraw is the prequel.
Mirren is among today’s most highly regarded actors, a four-time Oscar nominee who won for her portrayal of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II in 2006’s “The Queen.”
Ford’s extensive blockbuster movie credits include the “Star Wars” and Franchises of “Raiders of the Lost Ark”.. He was also nominated for an Oscar for “Witness” (1985).
