Brody is a Great Dane but is unaware of his size.
Because the 180-pound dog acts like a small puppy, he often causes trouble. “My kids adore this enormous horse-like dog. He frequently knocks my 10-year-old down,” Brody’s neighbor Barbara Nebenfuhr Hoffer told The Dodo. He’s incredibly cute and in your face all the time. He just wants to lick your face and sit on your lap.
Hoffer was visiting Brody’s owner last year when the large dog walked outside to say hello. Brody’s owner had just wrapped large amounts of spiderwebs around her porch in preparation for Halloween.
Brody was an inquisitive dog and decided to inspect the fluffy white substance.
“We were sitting there talking, and I kept watching him stick his face into the spiderweb,” Hoffer said. “And he just kept walking in it and pushing it. I grabbed my camera because I thought, ‘Oh God, what is this dog going to do?’”
Brody assumed he was small enough to get out of the web, but the harder he tried to shed it …
… the worse he got tangled.
“His whole face starts getting stuck in it, and he just kept walking through and trying to untangle himself,” Hoffer said. “He kept walking around the porch, which was just making it worse — pulling down the whole web.”
Brody destroyed the web in minutes, despite it taking hours to hang.
